We are delighted to assist you all with your accommodation and pre and post conference tours. We have selected 2 premium rainforest and our 2 favourite reef tours for simplicity, however please feel free to explore the whole website and book anything you like.
RAINFOREST The Kuranda skyrail and scenic train is a popular tour with stunning scenery and freetime in Kuranda village. You can choose from 2, 4 or 5 hours in the village of Kuranda.
Cairns has 2 world heritage national parks – the great barrier reef and the Daintree national rainforest. This cape tribulation tour goes to the very heart of this stunning area and includes a crocodile cruise, boardwalks through the rainforest and a sumptuous lunch. Most people choose to do both tours as they vary greatly.
GREEN ISLAND AND GREAT BARRIER REEF This tour is one of our most popular as it is great for everyone – it combines 2 reef tours in one day - 2 hours at green island and 3 hours at an outer reef pontoon with semi submarine, underwater observatory, plus additional options such as scenic heli flights, seawalker (helmet diving) and scuba doo (underwater motorbike) and scuba diving. Large comfortable boat – good for people who get seasick. Great for swimmers and non swimmers as everyone will be happy, with plenty of activities for non swimmers! A good all-rounder.
SWIFT CRUISE This is a great option for confident swimmers happy to tread water. They have roving permits which means they have different locations to choose from depending on the conditions on that day – this ensures you get the best possible experience. The reefs they go to are more pristine too as this minimises man’s impact on this fragile environment! However there are no glass bottom boats or semi subs – it is designed for those who want to spend as much time in the water. It is one of the fast and newest vessels on the great barrier reef. It is also a very comfortable vessel – plenty of space to move around, great dive deck, great service and a nice number of people on board (not crowded). This is one of my favourite options on the great barrier reef!
