Trinity Beach is situated only 15 km north of Cairns city, just 15 minutes from Cairns Airport, and a leisurely 60 km drive south of Port Douglas.

Trinity Beach itself is a palm-fringed cove framed by twin headlands and bordered by landscaped parkland with paved walkways, shady beach almond trees, free electric BB-Q’s, and a children’s playground.

The beach is very safe for swimming and like all Aussie beaches has lifeguards on duty and, in our tropical summer from November to May, a stinger-proof enclosure for protected swimming. Trinity Beach and the headlands at each end are popular spots for fishing or walking or simply sitting and taking in the tropical mornings and evenings. The beach is a calm oasis with only non-motorised water sports permitted.
