NGANA JULAYMBA DUNGAY - Southern Daintree Rainforest guided tour
"We all Going Daintree" Half or Full day
These tours are based on the southern side of the Daintree river and Mossman area. Including a guided walk through the southern section of the Daintree rainforest along the Mossman Gorge and local coastal habitats, including beaches and mangrove forests.
Gain an insight into how the Kuku Yalanji people see and use the natural environment, learn about different foods and medicines utilized from nature, sample some seasonal bush tucker, collect shellfish and try traditional Aboriginal hunting practices.
Have a go at boomerang and spear throwing and if you are lucky, catch a mud crab.
Pick ups from Port Douglas, Mossman and Daintree Village are included in the tour price.
NGANA KULKINGA DUNGAY - Northern Daintree Rainforest guided tour
"We all Going Cape Tribulation" Half or Full day
Travel north of the Daintree river to explore the Daintree rainforest and different environments around Cape Tribulation, where the rainforest meets the reef.
Learn about how these unique environments come together and how the local Kuku Yalanji utilised and managed the natural resources. Be guided on a walk through the worlds oldest surviving tract of low-land tropical rainforest, while your guide shares the history, culture and traditions of the Kuku Yalanji Aboriginal people.
Pick ups from Port Douglas, Mossman and Daintree Village are included in the tour price. (Contact us if staying north of the Daintree river as picks up can be arranged)
