Arrival and Check-In: 
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled flight time. Meet at the end of Wangetti Beach Road, just a 2-minute drive from Hartley’s Crocodile Farm and Rex Lookout.

Pre-Flight Preparation:
Sign required documentation electronically on site. Receive a briefing on safety procedures and what to expect during the flight. Gear up and make your way along the beach to get ready for take-off.

Flight Experience:
Take-off from the beach, feeling yourself effortlessly lifted into the sky using a unique winch tow launch method. Soar above the coastline and enjoy panoramic views of the Coral Sea, beautiful beaches, and rainforest-clad mountains. After 15 minutes of flying, land back on the beach gently and safely.

Afterwards:
Reflect on your flight as you make your way back along the beach to conclude this unforgettable experience. Looking for other things to do nearby? Stay at the beach to soak up the sun, head to Rex Lookout for more panoramic views, or make your way to Hartley’s Crocodile Farm for another exciting encounter (transfers available on request).

Meet at the end of Wangetti Beach Road, a 2 minute drive from Hartley’s Crocodile Farm and Rex Lookout, a 30 minute drive from Port Douglas, and a 40 minute drive from Cairns. Car parking available.

What to wear / bring

• Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions on the day. Perhaps a long sleeved top or light jacket as it may be cooler at higher altitudes.
• Wear enclosed footwear (e.g. running shoes).
• We recommend wearing sunglasses and applying sunscreen.

Family & Friends

Share your experience with family and friends. They are welcome to come along and take photos and videos as you prepare for your flight, launch and land.

Video & Photos

• A video package is available.
• If your booking does not include video, you have the option of adding a video on the day of your flight when you check-in.
• You will receive your video immediately after your flight via transfer to your phone.
• Personal cameras and phones are not permitted during the flight.

Weather Considerations

Tandem flights are weather dependent so there may be delays to your flight if weather conditions change or are unsuitable for flying. We kindly ask for your patience, understanding and flexibility should this situation arise – the weather is out of our control and your safety is our top priority. Please take this into account when organising transport.

•  Minimum age is 11 years (no maximum age limit!)
• Weight range for paragliding is between 30-120kg
• Basic fitness and good general health are required for safety. If you are unsure whether you meet the requirements, contact us for an individual assessment.
• Not accessible for wheelchair users
• Passengers under 18 require a parent or guardian to sign the waiver
