This vessel is a custom built sailing catamaran that offers spacious accommodation and privacy for up to 6 guests overnight or 12 guests during the day as well as 2 to 3 crew. With two king size doubles, one with it’s own bathroom, and walk through wardrobe. Also two large queen size doubles and two singles. All rooms have numerous portholes for ventilation, fans, reading lights and quality linen and towels that are changed regularly. The saloon are is very comfortable and can seat 20 plus persons, making a rooming chill out area for guests where meals, music, and movies and photos can be enjoyed on a 42 inch flat screen. The Yacht is fully carpeted with non-skid rubber flooring where needed. There is plenty of room on the top sides for relaxing and storing boards / fishing gear etc.

 


 

Excellent meals will be served on board with the chef specialising in fine seafarers cuisine. Imagine appetizers of fresh seafood or a chilled papaya salad, followed by a tuna curry, chilli mud crab or a grilled crayfish. Topped off with a first class desert of fruit / homemade ice cream or crepe suzettes. This yacht has a full communication system on board with satellite phone and Internet facilities. These are all available to guests at an extra cost so you can keep in touch with family or friends while is remote locations.

 

Features

  • The saloon / cockpit area is combined and can comfortably sit 20 people. There is a sit down table for six and a 200 lt freezer incorporated into the table.
  • State of the art galley with all the mod cons built in including, double gas cooker, double sink, fridge, coffee machine, juicer, microwave to name a few.
  • 2 x king size doubles
  • 2 x queens size doubles
  • 2 x singles
  • 2 x high end vacuum toilets, shower, sink
  • A 5 KVA diesel genset is on hand for the AC 240 volt needs
  • Stainless steel BBQ oven in situated on the duckboard.
  • Top of the range water maker (80 lit/ per hour) is on hand when fresh water is required.
  • Outdoor hot shower on the port rear
  • Washing can also be done at any time with a 8 kg front loader on board
  • Selden, the world largest mast makers, provided the rig and Horizon Sails provided the sail plan.
  • Single line reefing allows for the main to be dropped and reefed from the helm. Along with the furling jib and spinnaker.
  • Quality lumar winches and hatches provide muscle and watertight integrity where required.
  • Twin 54 HP shaft drive diesel Yanmar engines push the boat along in reasonable weather at 8 to 10 knotts. When under sail the folding 3 blade props tuck away to minimize drag allowing 15 to 18 knots to be achieved.
  • The aft steps were designed for easy access, getting on and off the boat a breeze.
  • Adequate surfboard racks allow for a number of boards to be carried.
  • Slatted timber decks provide a safe platform to access the anchor area, ideal for activities including sunbaking, yoga and chilling out.
  • The runabout is a 5 metre RIB inflatable, driven by a 20 HP 4 stroke Yamaha.

Suggested Itineraries

3 Day Charter

 

  • Port Douglas to Opal Reef , 28 nm , 4 hours one way.
  • Anchor up at Opal reef with a beautiful coral garden directly behind the Yacht. Then spend the afternoon exploring the near by reef locations. We take the tender and drift snorkel some stunning walls and Reef passes.
  • You can also stand up paddle and fish if you choose.
  • Watch the sun set and be treated to a delicious meal cooked by your personal chef.
  • View the stars at night from your bed while you gently rock to sleep.
  • After breakfast we visit another location SNO on the north side of Opal and do another couple of drift snorkels.
  • Its possible to swim with a huge Wrass if we are lucky.
  • From Opal Reef we travel to Agincourt reef , 12nm , 1.5 hours.
  • We can do some trawling between Sno and Agincourt then have a tasty lunch once we arrive and drop the anchor. Agincourt Reef has many locations worth visiting and we will spent the afternoon drift snorkelling the top and bottom of Agincourt # 1. Trigerfish point is a great drift on the incoming tide where we end up starting out on the pass and finish up in the shallows at least 1000 to 2000 mt away.
  • Whaler is another great drift on the southern end of Agincourt # 1 , there is a progression of shallow and isolated reef’s leading to some deeper edges. It is possible to see large schools of fish and loads of diversity.
  • We spend the night at Agincourt and snorkel Agincourt # 2 for following morning. Barracuda bommie and nursery bommie are both spectacular underwater peaks with various large schools of fish circling in the current. There are some beautiful drifts on the inside of # 2 also.
  • Agincourt # 2 to Port Douglas 32nm , 5 to 6 hours.
  • In the afternoon we sail back to port and need to allow 5 to 6 hours where we can do some trawling and relaxing on the deck.
4 Day Charter

  • Port Douglas to Opal Reef , 28 nm , 4 hours one way.

  • The following morning is spent Drift snorkelling some of the better locations at the Agincourt reefs.
  • We have lunch on the outer reef and then sail west to Undine or Mackay Cay for an afternoon spent on the beautiful sand cay , swimming , snorkelling , skurfing and Stand Up Paddling.
  • We anchor up behind the sand cay and spend the afternoon snorkelling and exploring the small sand island. There is another but sand and aqua blue water and the swimming is sensational. We somtimes light a small fire on the cay and watch the sun go down behind the mountain range of Cape Tribulation and the World Heritage Rainforest.
  • Dinner on the Boat and let the sound of the water drift you off to sleep.
  • Mackay or Undine Cay to Port Douglas 28nm , 4 hours.
  • We normally leave after a quick snorkel and or island walk. Sailing via Snapper island for a quick lunch stop. Snapper island is a rainforest clad tropical island with amazing beaches and vegetation. We can do a couple of short walks here and enjoy the peace and quite as we are more than likely to have the place to ourselves. From snapper its is another 12 nm to Port which can be a nice sail with the fishing lines out.
