Cairns Reef Fishing began operations in 1987. They have been showing both tourists and locals some quality Great Barrier Reef fishing ever since. Suited for beginners to advanced, Cairns Reef Fishing concentrates on bottom fishing the Great Barrier Reef. Both Rods and Handlines are used from the anchored vessel. With a maximum of 14 anglers aboard this 50 foot fishing boat has room for everyone.

The Most common fish caught regularly on board are Big and Small Mouth Nanygai, Sea Perch, Coral Trout, Trevally, Sweet Lip, Emperor and Cod. Mackeral are often caught on floating baits.
With ample deck space there's heaps of room if you need to fight that fish of a lifetime. Complimentary Tea and Coffee is available on board. There is also a fridge provided for any food and drinks you may like to bring along.
Cairns Reef Fishing have 2 vessels, both offering the same great service. The crew will make every effort to ensure its guests have a wonderful day’s fishing whether a first time fisher person or an experienced angler. All bait and tackle supplied, all fish are cleaned and packed for customer convenience.
