Enjoy a full-day adventure to Kuranda in the World Heritage Rainforest of Far North Queensland. Begin your experience with a scenic journey on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway that offers panoramic views over the lush rainforest canopy. Arrive at the award-winning Rainforestation Nature Park, where you can join a fascinating tour on a historic World War II Army Duck vehicle, traversing land and water through the rainforest. Explore the Koala & Wildlife Park, where you can feed kangaroos and encounter unique Australian wildlife including the impressive Cassowary. Immerse yourself in the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, featuring vibrant traditional dances and interactive demonstrations such as boomerang and spear throwing, showcasing authentic Indigenous culture. Travelling before Monday 2nd November 2026? Skyrail will be operating a loop experience between Kuranda Terminal and Barron Falls from 19th August to 1st November (5 days a week, Wednesday-Sunday, boarding between 10:00 and 15:30) as part of Stage 1 of our upgrade project. This experience will last for approximately 1 hour, including time at Barron Falls Station, where guests will be able to enjoy the following activities and experiences: Ranger Guided Tours, Interpretive Displays, The Edge Lookout, Historical Precinct and Audio Guide App. As a bonus inclusion all Tropic Wings passengers will receive complimentary entry to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary during this upgrade period.
