Overview
Take your Cairns holiday to new heights with a tandem skydive from up to 15,000 feet, with spectacular views stretching from the Great Barrier Reef and Coral Sea to the tropical rainforest, mountains and Cairns coastline. With an experienced tandem instructor attached to you throughout the jump, you can concentrate on enjoying the experience while your instructor handles the technical side of the skydive.
Your adventure begins with a scenic flight as you climb above Cairns, giving you plenty of time to take in the views before reaching jumping altitude. Once the door opens, you'll experience up to 60 seconds of freefall at speeds of more than 200 km/h before your parachute opens and the pace slows for a few minutes of peaceful sightseeing beneath the canopy.
Video and photo packages are available if you want to capture the experience from the air, while the standard skydive includes Australian Parachute Federation membership and compulsory personal accident insurance. Weight surcharges may apply for participants weighing 94kg or more.
