Iceberg is a 15.2m (52ft) sports yacht. She was built with two purposes in mind: winning the Sydney-Hobart race and fast island cruising. Today she sails the spectacular whitsunday islands over two perfect days and one magical night. She is owned and skippered by two brothers who have a genuine love of sailing and the Whitsundays.
Those seeking a high quality, exciting sailing experience without the crowds need look no further than Iceberg.

In the early days of whitsunday tours young travellers would arrive in the then 1 pub town of Airlie Beach and arrange their sailing tours directly with the laid back skippers of small sailing boat without the use of moblie phones, credit cards and internet.
These early travellers told their friends, who told their friends and so on. The sailing industry grew to what is today largely by word of mouth. Locals look back fondly upon the early days when there where more parties than rules.
The Whitsunday's in 2008 are still beautiful and pristine. Travellers now have the choice of many more faster, safer and more professionally run vessels. Most are part of large companies. Today iceberg is proud to be one of only two fully independent owner/skippered boats left in the Whitsunday's. Iceberg passengers get the comforts and professionalism of our modern world combined with the personnel touch of a family business.
Iceberg was built as a fast racer-cruiser. Constructed from alloy she is light and strong. She has flat decks, full headroom throughout and accommodates 12 guests in 5 separate accommodation spaces. Including 2 private double cabins and 1 private twin.
She is the pride and joy of brothers Luke & Tristram Mairs, who maintain their vessel to the highest standards. Being a true offshore yacht in top condition, she does not let a little rough weather get in the way of seeing the best of the Whitsundays.
