Snorkelling and diving Australia's Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, departing from Port Douglas, provides the shortest travel time to the reef. This translates into more time spent on the reef itself. In addition, this area offers the furthest northern point on the Australian coast to provide day trips to the reef. Locations further north of Port Douglas require a live aboard vessel.

HABA departs daily from Port Douglas and provides comfortable coach transfers for guests staying in Cairns or the Cairns Northern Beaches. The short drive from Cairns is along a scenic and undeveloped coastal highway nestled between sea and rainforest.
This area of the reef is home to a thriving profusion of sea life; from the magnificent whales, dolphins, turtles, eels, and giant clams, down to the prolific schools of vibrant reef fish, anemones and shellfish. An endless variety of colorful hard and soft shell corals provides the foundation for the reef and its vast array of inhabitants. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park covers some 345,400 square kilometres and is home to 350 varieties of coral and over 1500 species of fish.  The Great Barrier Reef located off Port Douglas and Cairns enjoys warm water temperatures all year round. The tropical environment ensures comfort to people while snorkelling and diving and produces nutrient-rich waters guaranteeing the presence of an abundance of marine life.

HABA's widespread mark of distinction in a market of many is for its' Multiple-Award winning hands-on customer service and friendliness, a benchmark our staff & crew strive to achieve each day. Over the years with knowledge & experience the HABA day has continued to evolve & improve.  Taking the best from all of the information gleaned HABA is proud to offer its ultimate vessel "Evolution" as the transport to take you on a journey certain to be one of the most memorable experiences of your lifetime.
