The fast catamaran to Fitzroy Island departs from the Marlin Marina, with check in at the Cairns Reef Fleet Terminal. Cruising south along the calm waters of the coastline, you will reach Fitzroy Island in only 45 minutes with 5 hours to explore this tropical paradise.

The Island's 339 hectares are covered in lush rainforest with 94% of the island (326 hectares), protected and managed as a National Park. Walking tracks for all levels of fitness allow you to explore areas of the island at your leisure.

With this combo you have the flexibility to choose either Snorkelling Equipment OR a Glass Bottom Boat Tour. Plus you also have use of the other beach hire equipment including the paddle ski's and ocean trampoline.

The fringing reef just off the beach reveals the diversity of marine life in these waters. A variety of reef fish, hard and soft corals and other marine animals can be seen.

Sea Kayak Half Day Tour on Fitzroy Island

This fully guided tour offers a tranquil way to see the beauty of the reef and Fitzroy Island (and requires no previous experience). Cruise to Fitzroy Island by fast catamaran, have a safety briefing before taking to the water to explore this remote island's hidden delights and private beaches.

You then have the afternoon to explore Fitzroy Islands beaches, fringing coral reefs and walking tracks with full use of the snorkelling gear until the ferry departs at 4pm.
